How secure is the email fx system and how safe is my data?
We take security and privacy very seriously. Our systems are secured using both hardware and software protection. All data we hold is secure and complies with our privacy policy. Click here to view our privacy policy in full.

Do I have to install email fx on my PC / MAC?
email fx is a web based application that can be accessed online through any standard web browser and internet service provider. You do not need to install software and all updates will automatically be integrated into the system.

Will you use my lists for your own marketing?
All data we hold is only used for the specific client, no data is shared or available to any third party. All data is treated in accordance with the current legislation.

Will emails sent by email fx be treated as spam?
As you are emailing people who have given you their email address or have chosen to opt-in to an email list, any email received from you should be treated as legitimate.

All e-shots and templates created are fully tested in different email clients to ensure maximum deliverability.

However, it is impossible to guarantee any email arrives, so it is not unusual for some emails to bounce or be returned undeliverable.

Where do I upload my mailing list?
You can upload your email list directly into email fx using files in a CSV format.

Can I have separate mailing lists?
You can split your database to specific campaigns, contact types or any other demographic you wish.

What happens to duplicate addresses and invalid addresses?
Once uploaded, the email list is checked for invalid and duplicate entries and offers the option to edit or remove them from the database.

When an email is sent, can people see who else is receiving it?
No, all email will only display the recipient's address and no one elses.

What kind of reporting / tracking is available?
email fx tracks all sent email and displays total amounts received, click through rates and all unsubscribed. This information is quantified as actual figures and percentages. The report will display the email address, date and time of who received, clicked or unsubscribed. All reports are real time.

What happens to a bounced email?
All undeliverable emails are returned to the email fx servers, we can either remove these or pass them directly to an alternative email address of your choice.

If they want to, will my contacts be able to unsubscribe?
Legally, all email marketing must have an option to unsubscribe. email fx automatically includes this feature so that this cannot be overlooked. All unsubscribes are immediately removed from the databases so that no emails can be sent to them again. Full reporting of unsubscribes is available.
